Baby Elephant Was Saved From Death By This Woman, Now He Follows Her Everywhere

There are many tragic incidents that occur in the wild, in which animals are deprived of their liberty, separated from their herd, and then taken their goods, and exploited to achieve human interests.

Baby Elephant Was Saved From Death By This Woman, Now He Follows Her Everywhere

It can be frustrating to think of all the people who believe that the world’s wildlife belongs to them, and they are only there to take it.

Fortunately, there are people who are willing to turn their whole world upside down to save beautiful wildlife in more ways than one.

Here is the animal heroine Roxy Dunkwirst, who has been caring for orphans and stray animals for the past two decades. Represent humanity and kindness towards the world to the fullest, with all its time, abilities and strength.

The most recent addition is Moyo, a baby elephant. The rescue center found Moyo, which means “heart,” after being abandoned on the shores of Lake Kariba in Zimbabwe.

He was only a few days old when he tried to cross a river, flooded with his family and almost drowned. He was taken to the Roxy Rescue Center in Harare called Wild is Life, where he moved to his new surroundings and pursued Roxy wherever she went for feeling friendly and safe towards her.

Moyo’s presence in Roxy’s house is not very convenient, as he weighs 123 pounds and sleeps next to Roxy every night. Roxy is good at dealing with his presence on her side. This is because she took care of a lot of elephants before him and rehabilitated them before being released into the wild, but Roxy thinks it will take longer before she lets Moyo leave. He is afraid of everything and is also sick.

Roxy explains that she allows the elephant to sleep next to her every night until she feels confident and safe.

See these wonderful spirits and how they support each other. Moyo is a lieutenant to Roxy and never leaves.

Share the story in honor of Roxy and all those who present their humanity to save the poor and oppressed beings in this world.

Being involved means you care…
